01 / THE PROGRAMME
How does exhibition assistance work?
Awareness of exhibition participation and assistance routes
The Ministry of MSME's International Cooperation framework includes support for participation in approved overseas exhibitions through eligible organisations and delegations. This is not an automatic reimbursement for any independently booked trip. Gujarat assistance routes have separate requirements. Review the current programme notice, event approval, applicant route and eligible expenditure before treating any expected assistance as part of your budget.
02 / THE FIT
Is it relevant to your business?
Who it may suit
- MSMEs exploring relevant trade fairs, buyer meetings or overseas markets.
- Enterprises considering participation through an eligible association or sponsoring organisation.

Potential value
- A suitable event may help you meet prospective buyers and partners.
- Eligible participation costs may qualify under the applicable assistance terms.

07 / COMMON QUESTIONS
A little more clarity.
Can we claim for any international exhibition?
No. The event, participating enterprise, sponsoring route and expenditure must meet the applicable programme terms. Confirm the route before making bookings or assuming an expense will be reimbursed.
Can an enterprise apply directly under the central scheme?
The participation component commonly operates through eligible industry associations, export promotion councils or government organisations. Check the current call and the relevant sponsoring organisation rather than assuming direct enterprise applications are accepted.
Can central and state assistance be combined?
Do not assume that they can. Disclose other assistance and check overlap, permitted expense heads and double-funding restrictions with the relevant authorities before submitting either claim.
